They were always available prior to our trip, making it easy to figure out what to pack and how to do some local things ( ie. Uber/Lyft versus using a clipper card). Even during our stay, they were easy to reach. We met Ashley during our check-in and she gave thorough orientation as to the whole house, shared spaces and the in & outs of the suite itself. The listing is accurate in terms of what amenities are offered and what the pictures display. The room is actually a private in-law suite in the house. The house has an unassuming entrance, and the shared spaces are huge. The in-law suite is in a 2nd-floor corner of the house. I slept on the sofa bed which was comfortable ( pro-tip: sleep with your head toward the entrance so that your back doesn't dip into the cushions). My parents slept on the queen bed which was amazingly firm and was hard to tell if people were rolling or moving around on. The only complaint I had was the banging the upstairs tenants did at odd times of the day but Ashley helped to take care of that. As we stayed for about a week, we had our linens washed/turnovered and the bathroom cleaned. There is a washer and dryer with detergent and dryer sheets provided. Also an iron as well. We often cooked breakfast in the common large beautiful kitchen. As they noted there is no dedicated parking associated with the house; street parking is almost an Olympic sport. On the border of many neighborhoods, we were in leisurely strolling distance to golden boy pizza, Coit Tower, Good Mong Kok bakery, and many other tourist attractions. We felt very comfortable walking around the area at all times of the day and night. Whenever we wanted to go to a slightly further location, such as Golden Gate Park, the car-share fees were reasonable as the house is in a good location. Ashley and Levon were very welcoming and we often chatted with them throughout our stay. Thanks for a wonderful time!
